Chairman's message

It is my second year as the head of the Organizing Committee and with great pleasure I would like to invite you to the 10th annual "Discover Mongolia 2012" International Mining Investors' Forum to be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on August 30th - September 1st, 2012.

This year's forum is special in multiple aspects. First of all, the Organizing Committee is proud that this event has grown to such a hallmark status which will be celebrating its 10th annual event this year. Secondly this year's Discover Mongolia IMIF will be held right after the parliamentary election of Mongolia. We all know that political stability and Government of Mongolia's policy towards mining is of utmost importance to international and domestic investors in the mining sector. Hence we look forward to be the information platform for Mongolia's government policy towards the minerals.

Throughout its 10 years of history "Discover Mongolia" IMIF has always been a source of timely and accurate information and the widest networking opportunity for our delegates. And we are in the process of completing just such agenda for this year's event. We plan to add some additional sessions while embracing our traditional forum structure, such as technical sessions, and introduction of new early stage projects.

Investors' appetite for Mongolian equity as well as debt has been very high in 2012. And "Discover Mongolia" IMIF remains as a resourceful base to launch and expand business, establish new contacts, learn of the latest developments and make deals.

Dear colleague, "Discover Mongolia" Forums have played an instrumental role in discovering Mongolian minerals; and we are in a process of planning this year's event and the Committee would greatly appreciate your comments on improvements and feedbacks for upcoming forum.
